Villa Erna is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life and yet it is only five to ten minutes away from where the action is. In every season of the year you can enjoy the architecture, the nature, the tranquillity and not to mention the sun. This three bedroom villa with private pool provides the perfect balance between a romantic ambience, serene surroundings and exclusive privacy, and it is just a few minutes' drive to some of Sri Lanka’s best white sand beaches.

Architecture:
The villa is designed by Belgian architect Anne-Mie Demeulemeester, professor at the Institute for Architecture and Visual Arts in Belgium. The garden is designed by a student and employee of Bevis Bawa. Design furniture is from Jacob Pringiers.
Meals:
On the breakfast menu there is always a wealth of fresh tropical fruit, homemade bread and spreads and a variety of local products. For lunch, our chef can offer you salads, sandwiches and fruit.
For dinner we offer you the chef’s table. While there is a menu, the chef will work with you to determine the types of delicious meals you would like during your stay, as well as discuss any allergies and/or special dietary needs.
Wine, liquor and soft drinks are purchased and billed separately at cost price with a small charge for transport. However if you have any favourites we recommend that you purchase them from duty free when arriving at the airport to avoid any disappointment during your stay.
Children:
A stay with us is not recommended with small children. The villa is situated on a mountain. Because of the many differences in height, the villa has lots of stairs. Therefore we have no cots or high chairs.
Area:
The must see is Galle Fort, an 18th-century Dutch walled town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Galle Fort is compact and easy to travel around. In the narrow streets you will find nice shops. Our central location makes it easy for our guests to make many half day or full day sightseeing tours such as whale watching, surfing in Hikkaduwa, visiting a white tea plantation, a safari tour in Yala and much more. While many of our guests come to Villa Erna for the full duration of their holiday, others like to combine their stay at the villa with a tour of Sri Lanka. To assist with any additional holiday plans you may wish to make, we have teamed up with travel expert Frank. He is an official guide in Sri Lanka and knows his country very well.
