Villa Parsina is a beautiful ancient villa with elegant and coloured frescos on the walls of the 19th Century, located on top of the hills surrounding the city Lucca.
With its huge garden and its swimming pool, this villa is perfect for relaxing and peacefull holidays.

Inside the villa you will find a big kitchen in country tuscany style, a living room with sofa and armchairs, and a laundry room with washmaschine.


Outdoors

The villa has an internal garden with patio and a huge park with a little forest of 85000 m2 including a modern swimming pool area (pool with natural salt water 7*16 m 1,20 m till 3,5 m deep).


Location

Cities as Florence, Siena, Pisa are really very easy to reach by car with distance from 19 km to around 60 km. The Mediterrean sea with the beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are only 15 km by car.
Important facilities such supermarkets, restaurants, pizzeria and many other useful shops are located in distance between 500 m and 1.5 km, the historical center of the city Lucca is only 6 km away.

The swimming pool is opened from the 30th of March to the 5th of October.

Kommentare

The house is gorgeous, beautiful frescoes on the walls and tastefully decorated. I would say the house looked even nicer than the pictures!
The kitchen is well equipped and the general layout is lovely.
With small children it was a real plus the pool being separate. The main garden being walled was really helpful in that regard too.
Being so close to Lucca, Viareggio and Pisa Airport was so convenient.
Great to have proper air conditioning in the bedrooms
The owner set up two really great cots for the babies, and brought proper highchairs quickly too when we asked for them.
Villanovo on their website says the jacuzzi and electricity is included, but the owner expected us to pay for this. When I told him Villanovo said it was included he didn't charge us, especially as we didn't use it much, but it was a bit awkward. The jacuzzi also wasn't set up when we arrived and we had to ask for it to be filled.
When I compare this to when we stayed with Villanovo last year it was just not nearly as smooth, so I would say anything you can do to improve this would make a big difference. The owners are really nice and organised the highchairs, mid-week cleaning and jacuzzi for us very promptly, so I think it may be about improving your communication with them.
Only other thing I would say is the mosquitos and wasps were rife - but don't expect there's much anybody can do about that!
